Pasoro Disability Caretakers is a team from Pasoro Methodist JHS in the Ashanti region. According to the team most physical infrastructures in Ghana are not persons with disability (PWD) friendly including access to public transport.

Individuals who use wheels, most especially, have difficulties boarding public transport due to the height at which the wheelchair and the PWD are carried into the car. The team’s project aims at designing and building a simple automated platform that could be fitted to the entrance of a vehicle to elevate the disabled person with his wheelchair into the car without much difficulty.
