Ing. Elorm Bansah Tsali
Civil Engineer with over a decade in the Energy Sector, Ing. Elorm is the Senior Project Manager with GE Gas Power executing Gas-to-Power projects in Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire. An alumnus of the Mandela Washington Fellowship and Founder of the Propel Ladies group.
Elorm started her career as a Trainee well test engineer with Schlumberger in Baku, Azerbaijan. Over the years, she’s supported customers in countries such as Uganda, Congo, Gabon, Mozambique, Ghana and Norway to deploy various well intervention solutions for their fields both onshore and offshore. Currently Elorm is executing GE’s scope of work on the Bridge Power project; the world’s first LPG fired aero-derivative gas turbines in combine cycle in Ghana. This project upon completion will supply an additional 400MW of power to Ghana’s grid. She also manages projects in Ivory Coast.
Elorm has a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana; a Masters in Project Development from Neoma Business School, France and a Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship from the Northwestern University, USA.
Elorm believes that STEM is key to advancing the development of Africa. For her, her job as a Project Manager is not just about big constructions and rolling out new technologies. It is about delivering much needed power that allows people, businesses and nations achieve their dreams, grow businesses and keep the lights on in our homes and hospitals.
