My name is Candice Nora Akomea Bonsu, and I’m 14 years old. I come from the central region of Ghana and stay in the Ashanti region of Ghana. I am proud to be an ambassador because I love promoting brands. I’m also a young entrepreneur. I crochet items and promote my small scale business on Instagram (@crochet_couture_gh), where people place orders, and I make it for them. I’m proud to be an ambassador because it will boost my confidence level since we will be meeting different people as time goes on. Before the program started, I was a bit shy. But at the induction service, I set a goal that after the program, I will be very confident and encourage young women in my community to get a job in the STEM field because they believe the best place for females is the kitchen. Some fun facts about me are that I love to crochet, sew, read my science textbook, listen to music, be a team player, and of course, read!
